Senior Manager, Process Management, Commercial Bank - Richmond, VA



The Commercial Analysis and Process Transformation team provides analytics and process engineering for many Commercial teams, including the Commercial Business Risk Office (CBRO). The team is responsible for process excellence across supported Commercial processes, including process design, development, and deployment.



We are seeking a top notch Senior Manager, Process Management to lead process work for all processes owned by the Commercial Business Risk Office. This broad leadership role spans all of CBRO, with work spanning many parts of the Commercial business and multiple executives as internal business customers.



The role is currently assigned one Principal Associate direct report with periodic opportunities for contractor support.



Key responsibilities include:



+ Defining end to end destination processes for the Commercial Business Risk Office

+ Identifying the initiatives required to get from the current state to the destination state

+ Proposing prioritization and sequencing of necessary process changes

+ Driving processes forward toward the destination state

+ Installing processes

+ Identifying process risks/failure modes and identifying appropriate controls needed

+ Ensuring all processes documented appropriately

+ Designing controls and monitoring as an organic part of processes, including controls for specific legal and regulatory requirements

+ Assessing monitoring outputs to determine whether follow-on action is required

+ Identifying root causes of risk issues and events to drive process improvements mitigating these risks

+ Assessing feasibility and level of effort for process changes required by new products and services and drive implementation when appropriate



Basic Qualifications:



+ Bachelor's Degree or military experience



Preferred Qualifications:



+ 5+ years process engineering, design, development, and deployment

+ Consulting or equivalent experience with significant and progressive process engineering engagements

+ 2+ years people management experience

+ Direct operations management experience

+ Risk management experience, ideally at the business division level

+ Demonstrated track record of delivering tangible results in matrix organizations in consulting and/or support roles
