Senior Manager, Project Management – Horizontal Credit Delivery & Project Management Operations Lead

Going forward we are looking to build on that foundation to transform the way Commercial banking is done.



**Summary:**



As a Senior Manager on the Horizontal Credit Delivery & Project Management team in Risk Operations, you will be responsible for managing the effective implementation of key risk management routines as well as independently leading strategic projects.



**Responsibilities:**



+ Develop and own Operating Rhythms and key horizontal risk management routines:

+ Define and establish core Operating Rhythms for UWPM and work with teams to provide tracking and monitoring on adoption and effective execution across UWPM teams.

+ Play a lead role coordinating critical risk management routines for UWPM such as the Sponsor Exposure Roundtable, working with senior risk leaders to ensure that required monitoring routines are executed with rigor.

+ Structure and manage a comprehensive view of the assurance exam agenda (regulatory, audit, credit review) to facilitate preparation and consistent approaches across the vertical businesses. Partner with the Horizontal Compliance & Regulatory lead to structure exam preparation and response remediation initiatives.

+ Lead advanced project delivery and strategic consulting initiatives as a key performer on the team

+ Partner with UWPM Leaders to consult on and analyze areas of opportunity such as organization design/operating model issues, regulatory or audit finding remediation, new process design, process efficiency and consistency and cross-functional problem solving.

+ Independently own project definition, stakeholder engagement and implementation, including scope and schedule development and execution.

+ Lead cross-functional teams to accomplish stakeholder objectives



**Basic Qualifications:**



+ Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

+ At least 5 years of Project Management experience

+ At least 3 years of Commercial Banking



**Preferred Qualifications:**



+ Master's Degree

+ At least 7 years of experience in project management, business risk/operations, underwriting or credit administration

+ Understanding of commercial lending and underwriting processes

+ Experience or certification with PMP or Agile/Scrum and related management software tools

+ Solid work ethic, a proactive approach and a focus on driving results

+ Strong verbal communication skills with both senior and junior stakeholders

+ Ability to work independently and comfortable with undefined or ambiguous problems

+ Detail oriented and organized

+ Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with senior leaders

+ Comfortable working with teammates and partners in remote locations
