Senior Manager, Small Business Card Customer Development- Implementation Specialist Leader



Within the Spark Small Business Credit Card Team, we are Small BusinessProud! Our Customer Development team works with Small Business owners to create long term, meaningful relationships to better understand their business and their entire B2B wallet. Through a consultative approach, we are able to help Small Business Owners optimize the rewards and benefits they receive from their Spark Business Card.

**Role**



The **Implementation Specialist Leader** will play a key role developing and executing on the Implementation Specialist team’s goal of being an indispensable partner to the Client Development Relationship Manager field organization. The Implementation Specialist team partners with and provides a range of support to our field Relationship Managers; helping them identify and execute charge volume expansion opportunities that optimize rewards and benefits business owners receive from being a Spark Business Cardholder. This leader will set the strategy to evolve this relatively new team on their multi-year journey in this space.



The ideal candidate will be a strategic and inspirational leader with consultative selling experience. They will have experience of leading a large, well-managed, diverse team with a focus on customer experience, effectiveness and results. They will also have demonstrated success of building and maintaining strategic relationships with internal customers and partners.



**Responsibilities**



+ Responsible for helping the Client Development channel achieve its incremental purchase volume goal.

+ Design the strategy to achieve the goal of becoming an indispensable partner to the Client Development channel and lead the team to execute on this strategy.

+ Partner with the field sales leadership team to improve the productivity and effectiveness of the interaction model between the Implementations Specialists and Relationship Managers.

+ Build infrastructure to support future expansion opportunities.

+ Responsible for building a high performing, results focused team.



**Competencies**



+ Experience leading field support based, customer development and/or external sales teams.

+ Excellent attitude, team work and ability to manage relationship with several partners at the same time.

+ Broad based business skills covering sales, client management, marketing and financial disciplines

+ Strategic agility, sound judgment and excellent problem solving skills

+ Ability to build productive partnerships and working relationships

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills

+ Strong influencing skills and self-motivation

+ Experience leading a team that delivers an Internal/phone based sales experience

+ Some travel is required.



**Basic Qualifications**



+ Bachelor's Degree or Military experience

+ At least 5 years of sales team leadership experience
