Sr. Communications Associate



Summary:

The Sr. Communications Associate manages day-to-day communications to an internal audience. Develops content based on business strategies and determines appropriate channel for messaging. Creates strategy for continued improvement in communications. Supports all project and product launches by developing and implementing communications plans. Executes and builds communications strategies; provides channel management, conducts event planning, and internal client specific projects for business unit activities or specific key business project initiatives.



Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day communications sent out to associates. Channels include emails, newsletters, and launch packets for new products, supporting the media team by ensuring timely delivery of coverage generated by media team members, pulling media lists and

• Execute and build communications strategies and internal client specific projects for business unit activities or specific key business project initiatives.

• Research, compile and distribute relevant news regarding the company, its competitors and industry trends on a daily basis to the media team.

• Maintaining the media database, awards tracker and conference spreadsheet

• Assist with logistical and advance support for media events



Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• 2 years of experience in Managing communications to multiple audiences: business-writing, managing a newsletter, editing

• 1 year of experience in Developing communication strategy for department or company

• 1 year of experience in Providing assistance with media events - event planning, preparation, support, logistics

• 1 year of experience in Communications-specific role

• 2 years of experience in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)



Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in Managing communications to wide variety of audiences - business-writing, managing a newsletter or similar type of communication vehicle, editing

• 2 years of experience in Developing communication strategy for department or company
