Sr. Consumer Marketing Manager

Since its launch almost 25 years ago, Homes.com has made millions of introductions between homebuyers and real estate professionals, leveraging user-friendly tools, valuable tips, and helpful information so homebuyers have everything they need to find a home that perfectly fits their family and lifestyle.

We're looking for a candidate to join the consumer marketing team at Homes.com where they would be responsible for developing, coordinating and executing consumer marketing strategies designed to build awareness and brand recognition. This position will work closely with marketing staff, search and product teams on various consumer marketing initiatives for Homes.com.

This is a full-time position that will report directly to the Director of Marketing and would be based in either Norfolk, VA or Tallahassee, FL.


  • Manage and oversee day-to-day consumer marketing efforts for Homes.com.
  • Strategize and develop new ideas with various teams and sr. leaders on how to increase branding, consumer engagement, and social media strategies.
  • Imagine, plan and implement all consumer social promotions and engagement campaigns.
  • Liaison with PR firm which would include developing content ideas of interest to the media, assessing media opportunities, and research for media interviews.
  • Work closely with multiple departments to ensure proper consumer messaging, tone and branding is being executed in all consumer content, social channels, etc. and are tied to organizational goals.
  • Imagine, develop and manage branding and engagement content strategies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging marketing technologies that will aid in the attraction consumers to Homes.com.
  • Brainstorm new and innovative ways to attract consumers to Homes.com.
  • Various reporting as needed.Qualifications:
    • BA/BS Degree
    • 5+ years professional experience in marketing, PR, and/or advertising as manager, demonstrating leadership in a fast-paced environment
    • Proven skills and past experience managing consumer marketing and/or social promotions.
    • Basic understanding of other digital marketing disciplines for integrated strategies (i.e. SEO, Paid Search, Paid Media).
    • Experience working and building relationships with cross-functional groups
    • Quantitative analytical ability and communication skills, distilling large problems into actionable learnings and outcomes
    • Team oriented and can work across all levels of management, teams, and disciplines
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Must be able to translate complex ideas into concise marketing messages.
