**The Role:**



The Commercial Credit Transformation will change the way we manage credit origination, underwriting, and portfolio management across our commercial segments (Middle Market, Cash Flow / Specialty Lending, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions Group). We are launching a coordinated program of process, data, and technical solutions to enable the growth of our Commercial segments through improved efficiency, leading client experiences, strong associate engagement and lowering risk.



We are looking for a Head of Credit Transformation Delivery to partner with Credit Transformation senior leadership to facilitate the program’s long-term objectives. The Head of Credit Transformation Delivery will lead facilitation of the broader program, inclusive of deployment oversight and support, business readiness, user engagement through change management (training and communications), and performance metrics. Responsibilities include working across Credit Transformation leaders to support teams to develop the strategic roadmap and drive the transformation agenda. His/her team is responsible for project and solution delivery across the Underwriting user group.



The person will be responsible for challenging the status quo, pushing conversations beyond the day to day, and looking horizontally to find opportunities to advance the program’s initiatives and optimize the program’s performance. Critical to success will be his/her ability to connect and integrate objectives, navigate difficult conversations, prioritize between competing demands, and earn the confidence and trust of key internal stakeholders. The role also requires the ability to work effectively across organizations, including with key commercial segments, UW segment leaders, Technology, and Operations partners to align prioritization, demand and capacity, as well as develop strategic investment and long-term financial plans.



Additional responsibilities include:



+ Partnering cross-functionally with program customers and other stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery

+ Ensuring the Credit Transformation projects and initiatives align with objectives and expectations set with Commercial Leadership, including annual imperative planning and target setting

+ Communicating strategic priorities and plans to executive leadership, associates and external stakeholders, including interacting with and influencing senior leaders

+ Identifying and leveraging industry trends, best practices and benchmarking

+ Overseeing and managing the Credit Transformation Delivery team resources

+ Serving as a “center of excellence” for Credit Transformation solution delivery, an expert on various delivery methods, and drive excellent execution

+ Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements

+ Ensuring projects are being delivered on time and on budget within a challenging environment while simultaneously managing risk

+ Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

+ Supporting issue resolution and risk mitigation, escalating to advisory and steering teams as needed

+ Driving alignment between stakeholder groups and coordinate any cross-functional dependencies

+ Facilitating measurement of program outcomes through analytics



**The ideal candidate will:**



- Have a high level of strategic, lateral, and creative thinking



- Exhibit communication skills to effectively drive project / program efforts



- Exhibit ability to influence, navigate, and lead complex and nuanced conversations



- Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment



- Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates



- Have experience/exposure in commercial lending



- Have strategy/advisory consulting experience



- Deep knowledge of Waterfall and Agile delivery methods



**Basic Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

- At least 10 Years of Project Management experience

- At least 8 Years of People Management experience



**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Master’s of Business Administration Degree
