Sr Manager, Chief of Staff - Corporate Audit Services



Corporate Audit Services (CAS), the Internal Audit function within Capital One, is a dedicated group of audit professionals focused on delivering top quality assurance services. CAS is considered one of the leading internal audit functions within the financial services industry and is highly regarded within Capital One. CAS professionals are experienced, well-trained and credentialed, and operate within a collaborative, agile environment to deliver value-added audit opinions and recommendations across the enterprise.



CAS is seeking an energetic, self-motivated professional interested in becoming part of the Chief of Staff (COS) team. This Senior Manager position will be responsible for departmental and enterprise level people programs across CAS to maximize associate engagement and help CAS continue to be a great place to work. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded associate to help build and strengthen a consistent culture of high performance and boldly model the future of the Internal Audit profession.



**Key Responsibilities:**



+ Help shape recruiting, training, and associate development initiatives

+ Assist with the development and execution of CAS annual imperatives

+ Lead and promote associate engagement and recognition programs including CAS’ own Visionary Awards program

+ Initiate new creative and impactful associate engagement activities

+ Lead the planning and execution of CAS’ annual multi-day training and teambuilding offsite

+ Serve as an advisor to the “One Team” Committee for associate development and connections.

+ Review and analyze the All Associate Survey and lead the execution of action plans related to the results

+ Lead talent and performance management programs

+ Collaborate with teammate within COS team on communications and other related initiatives

+ Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives

+ Manage space planning initiatives and identify creative solutions to space challenges

+ Work collaboratively with various corporate and other partners, including HR Consulting, Recruiting, COS teams across CR&G, and Workplace Solutions

+ Lead or participate in special projects as needed

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships and earn the trust and confidence of both the Chief Audit Executive and the Senior Leadership team. Candidates should be able to develop a macro-level view of the company, department and profession, while taking a pragmatic and action-oriented approach that is geared towards execution and delivery.



Basic Qualifications:



+ Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

+ At least 5 Years of experience in HR/Talent Management, at least 5 Years of experience in Communications, at least 5 Years of experience in Project Management, at least 5 Years of experience in Process Management, or a combination



Preferred Qualifications:



+ Master’s degree in Business Administration or Master’s degree in Communication

+ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

+ 10+ years of Financial Services and Internal Audit experience

+ 5+ year of experience in a Chief of Staff role

+ 5+ years of experience in communications or 5+ years of experience in talent management or 5+ years of experience in organization development
