End User Computing is hiring a Senior Technical Project Manager. In this position, you'll lead teams responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets.
* Accountable for project end-to-end delivery and ensuring all contractual and client commitments are met (including delivery acceptance by client).
* Manages both ADP internal and client communications on project activities, performance, risks and issues, performs analysis of variances against plan and take appropriate corrective actions as needed.
* Ensure adherence to ADP approved project management methodology to plan, execute, monitor and control project implementation using techniques from both waterfall and agile/scrum methodologies.
* Collaborate with functional groups across Global Enterprise Technology & Solutions. A typical IT project may include but are not limited to Development, Product Management, Service, Implementation, Infrastructure and IT Support.
* Projects include services such as Physical and Virtual Platforms, Messaging, Identity Mgmt. and Directory Services, Software & Systems Mgmt., Mobility, and Platform Security. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Takes ownership for the project process, project deliverables and communication frameworks including administration of project collaboration tools and document repositories.
* Provides lifecycle process expertise and works directly with project sponsors and key stakeholders on the applicable deliverables. Sponsors and stakeholders on assigned initiatives range from manager to C-level executives.
* In collaboration with project teams, create and maintain project plans and schedules including deliverables across all impacted areas of assigned projects.
* Provide oversight and leadership during project execution to ensure alignment with project deadlines. May function as a Scrum Master on agile projects utilizing the scrum methodology.
* Facilitate the definition, management and negotiation of project scope and scope change controls between the project team and key business stakeholders for assigned projects.
* Works directly with the Product Owner/Proxy for backlog management and prioritization for Scrum teams.
* Identify risks in conjunction with the project team and stakeholders. Work with the project team and stakeholders to define mitigation plans and ensure plans are tracked and status of the risks are reviewed on a regular basis.
* Tracks and resolves project issues/impediments and team conflicts. Facilitate escalation of issues un-resolvable by the project team to the appropriate business or IT sponsor and track to successful completion.
* Track and report project progress to stakeholders and senior management. Prepare status reports and facilitate project meetings as defined in the EUC PMO.
* Manage project resource budget and address discrepancies between baseline and actual time reporting and expenses.
* Maintain Project Management skills in alignment with industry standards. Stay current with innovations in Project Management and explores usefulness and adoption. Contributes back to the EUC PMO with lessons learned/best practices. Qualifications
* 7-10 years of direct project management experience
* Bachelor's degree from accredited institution
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
* Experience managing medium to large cross-functional and/or multi-year projects
* Experience with project management tools and structured methodologies
* Experience managing technical project resources
* Previous technical experience with related technologies ADPTECH #LITECH
