DDS is recruiting a Staff Accountant to their team. We are interested in a CPA eligible new or recent degreed Accounting graduate. Staff Accountant Job Profile:
 Compile and analyze financial information to prepare general ledger entries.
 Work closely with field office personnel to research and resolve financial inquiries.
 Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations; facilitate the research and resolution to discrepancies.
 Prepare and distribute financial reports as requested.
 Prepare ad hoc financial analysis as requested.
 Support external and internal audits.
 Provide suggestions and input on changes to improve efficiency of various processes.
Participate in projects as requested.


Requirements

Position Responsibilities including but not limited to the following


1. Month-end close processes, including reviewing, preparing and entering journal entries as necessary.
2. Prepare monthly financial reports as required by Corporate Accounting.
3. Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations
4. Maintain various accrual roll forward reconciliations
5. Prepare monthly account and bank reconciliations as necessary.
6. Prepare month-end financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of expense and revenue.
7. Responsible for running monthly reports out of various systems and saving them to the network for shared use
8. Manage the tracking and maintenance of inventory and cost of goods sold schedules, and reconciliation of accounts monthly
9. Communicate regularly with manager and other support staff, answer questions and provide reporting
10. Prepare monthly A/R Allowance Model & Revenue Reconciliations for the business unit.
11. Perform research to aid in the preparation of financial statements and ad-hoc analyses/reporting
12. Assist with budgeting processes when necessary.
13. Other projects as assigned.

14. Have a good understanding of accounting policies (GAAP), research items or ask for assistance if you are uncertain
15. Keep manager informed of progress, whether that means cc'ing manager on communications via e-mail, letting manager know when you have completed a task, or keeping manager informed of how far along current projects have progressed
