Talent Development Program Specialist

We are looking for an exceptional Program Specialist to support both our Finance Rotation Program and our Human Resources Rotational Program. In this role, you will work both independently as well as closely with an amazing team (we’re biased, but really). The role is challenging, impactful, and a meaningful part of an “all hands on deck” environment. Everyone fully commits to their responsibilities and is willing to pitch in and help wherever needed to create an amazing experience for Program associates, internal clients, stakeholders, and the team.



Primary Responsibilities:



+ Enthusiastically build and manage relationships with program associates, leaders and partners across a range of levels, business functions and geographies

+ Develop logistical strategy and own execution for full-time development & leadership programs across geographies

+ Plan and execute a robust events calendar

+ Coordinating these program events and initiatives

+ Oversee related events, travel, and hotel accommodations

+ Manage program communications

+ Own data analysis and tracking – including creating and analyzing surveys, effective budget tracking, and associate tracking



Additional Responsibilities:



+ Partner with the team to innovate on current program strategy

+ Coordinate a training curriculum that enhances job specific skills and provides a foundation for future success at Capital One.



Basic Qualifications:



+ High School Diploma or GED or equivalent or Military Experience

+ At least 1 year of corporate event management planning

+ At least 1 year of project coordinator experience

+ At least 1 year of managing projects with deadline oriented tasks

+ At least 2 years of administrative task experience

+ At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office



Preferred Qualifications:



+ Bachelor's degree

+ At least 2 years of project coordinator experience

+ At least 2 years of corporate event planning experience

+ At least 1 year of employee-facing communications experience
