ADP has a Technical Architect for our Norfolk location! Provide leadership, technology design expertise, direction, coordination, and consultation, in the development, integration, launch, scaling, and maintenance of new and existing products and solutions. Promote use of innovative new technology and best practices for BU or Enterprise-wide new product and solution development initiatives. Influence and govern current and strategic architectural blueprints. Promote architectural initiatives that drive revenue and improve efficiency aligned with business strategy. Identifies key application design patterns and standard application frameworks. Guides initiatives to align with the overall application portfolio and core platform blueprint and manages the evolution of the application portfolio. Provides design directives to software developers, including how to construct and integrate software, in order to meet all functional and non-functional requirements. Describes fine-grained components, application programming interfaces and frameworks (development and runtime) of a system based on solution requirements. Selects application development platform technologies. Establishes the strategic direction for application development approaches, including tools, process and frameworks. Clearly documents and communicates Solution Designs, Functional Designs and Architectural Designs for team and internal business reviews.
* Key Skills and Experience Years of Directly Related Experience Explanation -- additional detail 8+ years Knowledgeable and fluent across the different "stacks" of a large-scale content management systems (SharePoint, Alfresco, Documentum, FileNet, etc.) 5+ years Developing and leading large-scale technology engagements in a large corporate environment. 3+ years Expert-level knowledge in Web technologies including widget development, mobile and emerging digital interfaces. 3+ years Design, analysis and implementation of enterprise wide applications using the latest UI standards 5+ years Strong ETL and system integrations experience 3+ years Experience with SOA/Web Services and real-time data synchronization with 3rd party systems 3+ years Content Capture / Imaging Solutions 5+ years Relational Database Experience such as SQL and Oracle and No SQL DB Experience a plus 4+ years Evaluating solutions for each "tier" in a four-tier architecture including front end, cloud, integration & backend 4+ years Knowledgeable with two more core programming languages (e.g., Java, .Net (C#), etc.) #LITECH #cb#
