As a Procurement Analyst for the Strategic Sourcing Team you will play an essential role in the sourcing and purchasing of machinery, equipment, tools, raw material, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization.

You will also compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.

You will develop information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.

Our Procurement Analysts also confer with suppliers and analyzes suppliers operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.

You will also be an essential part of the review of proposals, the negotiation of prices, the selection or recommendation of suppliers, the analysis of trends, the follow up of orders placed, the verification of delivery, The approval of payment, prepare bid packages and maintenance of necessary records.

**Basic Qualifications:**

Bachelor’s Degree and 0 years of experience.

4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.

8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.

An Apprentice Certificate or graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree.
